If laser tattoo removal is struggling to get some colours out of your tattoo why not try Saline removal. I can guarantee it will be 100% less painful!

Kyla

I have always had a passion for beauty but I have also always been more interested in enjoying the day and not spending hours in front of the mirror. When I was a teen I had the most amazing eyebrows (I have photo evidence and siblings to prove it)!

Then came the late 00’s and I like everyone else decided to get rid of my brow hair using Electrolysis, a permanent hair removal method. I had the dreaded SPERM brows. As people realized having eyebrows was a benefit to framing the face I because obsessed with finding a solution to my problem.

In 2014 I came across the word MICROBLADING! This was going to be life changing. I could finally have brows 24/7 and not have to draw them in every single day.

My university education was FINE ARTS, yes I am an artist! I mostly work in acrylic paints on a larger scale. My latest piece was a hand painted miskoka chair that was auctioned off throughout DOWN TOWN VERNON. My knowledge of colour theory and ability to draw would become a huge asset to me, not just for my artwork but for my business Studio Ki.

In 2017 I completed my Microblading course and was working out of Chadalin Med Spa (Dr. V’s spa). In 2018 I opened Studio Ki in down town Vernon. My goal was to make people lives easier in the mornings and through out the day. No one likes to reapply their brows mid day!

Since opening the studio a lot has changed but my goals are still the same. To enhance the natural beauty and features of anyone who walks into the door and simplify their morning routine. We specialize in services that help you wake up and feel your best. Everything that we offer at the studio has been a solution to a problem in my own life! If I have a predicament that needs to be solved (ie, no eyebrows) I know other people will likely be in the same boat!

When you walk in the door we want you to feel comfortable and educated, when you walk out we want your to fall in love with your new look. The Okanagan knows, amazing brows don’t happen by chance, they happen by appointment at Studio Ki.

Kyla’s latest accomplishments are in the paramedical side of tattooing and include, Inkless Stretchmark revision, scar camouflage tattooing & 3D areola restoration. I want people to feel comfortable in their own skin and it’s my mission to help you get there!

Max

When I was 15 I got my brows waxed and they were messed up! Ever since then I’ve been obsessed with having amazing brows. I started in this industry as a makeup artist and it has grown into so much more.

I did schooling for makeup artistry in Kelowna at MC College, but you can only learn so much in school. Working at Studio Ki has taught me real world lessons and skills that I’ll treasure forever!

My favourite part about the beauty industry is when clients leave happy and confident. Knowing I was a part of that makes me happy, I love to spread positive energy and uplift everyone around me.

My main services at Studio Ki are lash lift and tint, Procell Collegen induction therapy, dermaplaining, henna brows, and facial waxing. I love helping clients achieve the best skin possible and giving them gorgeous lifted lashes.

Max is know around Vernon for her amazing work lash lift’s, you will LOVE her lifts! Her knowledge about skin care is a fantastic addition to our studio! One of her recent accomplishments is achieving her advanced micro needling certification!

Billie

Billie Sue first fell in love with permanent makeup when she took the leap and got her own brows microbladed. After seeing the incredible results and how simple her daily routine became, she had the desire to bring the same results to others!

Upon completion of her brow training and moving to Vernon, she had the incredible luck and blessing to be hired and mentored by master artist, Kyla Ki of Studio Ki. She is in love with creating different patterns and gorgeous face framing brows. Billie is obsessed with her clients and working at Studio Ki!

Billie has recently completed her lash lift and tint training and is now offering brow and lash combo’s!

Methods of payment

Studio Ki downtown Vernon currently accepts credit cards, cash and e-transfers and PayPal!

A lot of people ask, do I have to tip? The answer is a gratuity for work you LOVE is always appreciated but is never mandatory!

Parking

There is metered street parking in front of the studio at a rate of $1/hour but has a max of 2 hours. Most initial appointments will take more than two hours so we will have to replug your meter.

There is also the option of the downtown Vernon parkade which is covered and has $4 full-day parking. This parkade is less than 200 meters from the studio.

Due to the nature of the studio, we prefer it to be a child-free zone! If for some reason you need to bring your little one please let us know in advance and make sure they have some kind of entertainment. Child care off-site is always the best option!

Handicap Accessible

We do have 4 stairs to climb to get up to the studio from the street so if you are mobility challenged please take this into consideration.

Hours of operation

We are by appointment only! If you would like to pop in to pick up some EyEnvy or take-home teeth whitening supplies feel free to drop by but text in advance to guarantee someone will be there to help you! 250-306-0909 If the lights are on and the door is locked, knock and we will let you in!
